Counselling services and fees
The Great Thriving offers person-centred counselling to English-speaking gay and bisexual men, online. There are three services: a free 30-minute introductory conversation, ongoing 50-minute individual sessions, and a 50-minute short-notice appointment. The same counsellor is present every session, there is no waiting list and no limit on the number of sessions.
Fees are set in Pound Sterling and can also be paid in Euro. Choose a display currency below to see a rough guide in your own currency; final charges are in GBP or EUR.
Working together
I work with a small number of clients at a time, so that each piece of work gets proper attention.
Everything is held privately by video. Nothing is recorded.
50-minute sessions
Counselling sessions run 50 minutes; the introductory conversation is 30. The video link and the confirmation email arrive automatically once a time is confirmed.
Online
Sessions are held online by private video with English-speaking clients. Appointment times include early mornings and evenings. Get in touch if you would like to check a particular time.
Private and registered
Mark Clarke is a Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP 407828) and holds a BSc (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy. The Great Thriving LTD is ICO-registered and insured for international online practice. Details are handled per the Privacy Policy.
Group work — coming later this year
I'm planning to run small, closed online groups for gay and bi men — six to eight men, meeting weekly for eight weeks, on a single theme.
Groups only work when there are enough of the right people, so I'm gauging interest first. Leave your email and I'll write to you once a group is forming. Nothing else — no newsletter, no marketing.
