Terms
These terms explain how this website and online counselling bookings work. They do not replace the counselling agreement, which is shared before paid therapy begins.
Website use
The information on this site is for general guidance only. It is not emergency support, medical advice, diagnosis, or a replacement for care from a doctor or crisis service.
Intro calls
A free 30-minute intro call is a short conversation to see whether counselling with Mark Clarke may be a suitable fit. It is not a therapy session and does not create an ongoing counselling relationship.
Paid sessions
Paid counselling sessions are 50 minutes, booked and paid online in advance. The current fee for a standard individual session is £95 unless a different published option is selected.
Cancellations and changes
You can move an appointment using the link in your confirmation email. Paid sessions can be moved or cancelled with at least 48 hours' notice. With less notice, the prepaid session is forfeited.
If I need to cancel
If I have to cancel or move a session, I'll give you as much notice as I can, and your prepaid session is carried over to a new time or refunded in full — whichever you prefer.

The Great Thriving LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 16696328. Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), reference ZC056045.
If something isn't right
I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within its Ethical Framework. If you have a concern, tell me first and I'll do my best to put it right. If we can't resolve it between us, you can raise it with the BACP.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
